One of the most distinguished historic legacies of the Diocese of North Carolina belongs to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Salisbury. The parish was established by act of the Colonial Assembly in 1753 and mirrored the size and boundaries of Rowan County, the largest county in the colony.

St. Luke's today is a worship-centered community in downtown Salisbury focused on serving Christ in our parish, in our local area, and in the world. The Eucharist is the backbone of our common worship. There are three regular, weekly celebrations of the Eucharist. We welcome you to come worship and grow with us.

VISION

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is committed to understanding and following the teachings of Jesus Christ.  As such, we aspire to serve the community as dynamic stewards of God’s gracious bounty.  In so doing, we will promote spiritual fulfillment, social justice and respect for the environment.  We call upon our members to follow Christ’s loving example in actively pursuing these aspirations.
